Adults with Type 1: Age: Twenties

An Actor Prepares.... To Live With Diabetes
Cecily, 22, NYC, NY. Diagnosed in June 2006. Uses Humalog and Lantus. Cecily is an actress, she loves to read and loves to laugh. She started her blog to get to know others with type and vent about the daily highs and lows (literally and figuratively). When there is a cure, the first thing Cecily will do is eat as much candy as she wants!

Bad Decision Maker:
Carrie, 22, Chicago, IL. Diagnosed in February 1995. Used the pump, but is on a brief hiatus. Carrie loves thunderstorms and chocolate, and exercise keeps her happy and sane. Carrie started her blog keep herself thinking and challenging herself, and write about things related to life after college. Carrie says she doesn't think about a cure, though she says she would take it when it comes. She's more interested in treatment improvements and making sure people have healthcare.

The 'Betes:
Tekakwitha, 25, Chicago, Ill. Type 1 since April 28, 2004. Wears an insulin pump. Tek (as she is commonly known in the O.C.) loves pistachio ice cream, is a homebrewer, and has two sisters and one brother. She started her blog to connect with others with Type 1 diabetes and to share her story. When there is a cure, she plans to eat Red Vine licorice.

Candid Diabetes:
Tiffany, 26, Alberta, Canada. Diagnosed on April 23, 1990. Uses Novorapid in a Paradigm 522 insulin pump. She is the middle child of three girls, likes cheese and ketchup sandwiches and has “freakishly” tiny ankles. She started her blog to “inflict” her sense of humor on others, and to have a sharing place that would reach out to other diabetics. When there is a cure, the first thing Tiffany will do is get cured.

The Corner Booth:
Michael, 28, Indiana. Diagnosed at age 5. Uses a Minimed insulin pump with Humalog. Michael is a newspaper reporter, a poet who likes to philosphize with his cat, Shadow, and he would be rather be wearing Homer Simpson slippers than work shoes. He started his blog to write about life, poetry and news and daily musings about life with diabetes. When there is a cure, the first thing he will do is make sure everyone knows about it and tells their story.

Cyber-Pancreas:
Jay – 27-year-old father of one, a type 1 diabetic for 5 years. Very active in the diabetes community, writes Technobetes for Diabetes Talkfest.

D and Me:
Sasha, 24, Netherlands. Diagnosed in May 1999. Uses Lantus and Humalog. Sasha has lived in four different countries in the last six years, loves books and is thinking about writing one herself someday, and she was born in Siberia. Sasha started her blog because she wanted to share her experiences, because she doesn’t know anyone with type 1 diabetes where she lives and she wants to talk about it with people who are going through the same thing. When there is a cure, Sasha thinks life will go on as usual, but she would be happy for all the small kids in the world with type 1 diabetes, as they will probably appreciate the pricks-free life.

Diabetes Daily:
Elizabeth and David, 24 and 24, Ohio. Elizabeth was diagnosed on February 25, 2005. David, Elizabeth's boyfriend, does not have diabetes. Elizabeth wears a Minimed 515 insulin pump. David loves to play the drums and piano, sing loudly and off-key, and annoy Elizabeth by whistling "Funkytown" constantly. He works for a family business and loves spicy food, especially when it makes him cry. Elizabeth is from a large Italian-French family and has five brothers. She is mildly obsessed with designer shoes and handbags and nicknamed her closet "the collection." She was born in Manhatten and has a matching pirate tattoo with her friend Candice. Elizabeth wanted to start a blog to share her thoughts and feelings as a new Type 1, and David wanted Elizabeth to find support and information. When there is a cure, Elizabeth and David plan to travel to Italy where they can eat all the carbs they want, swim in the Mediterranian without working about overheated inuslin and then go skiing.

Diabetes Diary:
Kelsey, 26, California. Diagnosed on July 27, 1993. Uses a Cozmo pump. Kelsey grew up in the Redwood Forests of Northern California, her favorite food is cherry tomatoes, and she gets faint whenever she has to get her blood drawn or even hears about other people's medical issues. She says, "When people tell me "I could never do that" about shots or finger sticks, I always say, "Believe me, you could." Kelsey was inspired by the blogs of Kerri, Amy and Allison. She thinks it is a great way to build community and share her experiences of living with diabetes. Kelsey isn't sure what she will do when there is a cure, but she will jump up and down with joy!

A Diabetes Discourse:
Tyler, 23, California. Diagnosed September 1997. Wears an insulin pump with Humalog insulin. His last name (Wolf) is prone to nicknames, including "The Wolf","Wolfman", and even "Wolfman Jack". He loves strawberries but strongly dislike sauerkraut. He purchased a bicycle in October of 2005 and hopes to compete in a100 mile race in May of 2006. Tyler started his blog because he wanted to share his experiences with others who have diabetes and because he feels he can offer a great deal of advice and personal information about living with diabetes and using an insulin pump. When there is a cure, Tyler plans to just relax and avoid thinking about carbs.

Diabetes Rant:
E – a 28-year-old Bostonian with Type 1, diagnosed in ’87. Focuses on daily anecdotes.

Diabetes Sucks!:
Nikki, 22 year old type 1 Novolog pumper from Tulsa, OK, dx'd December of 2002. She loves to cook, her dream job is Radio City Rockette, and she can read a book a day. She reads so many others blogs of people with diabetes and felt so much better to know there were so many people out there that felt the same as her. She feels that not nearly enough people are educated on the differences in Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes and would like to be there to help. When there is a cure, she plans to educate other people on it.

Diabetes Wise:
Caro, 26, London, England. Diagnosed in April 1983. Currently wears an insulin pump. Caro loves giraffes, because "They are so incredibly well designed but, at the same time, kind of daft." She loves knitting, photography and chocolate. She thinks a world without chocolate would be a horrible dream. She also thinks she might be obsessed with diabetes, but thinks it's okay as long as it help her stay in control. She started her blog to join a community that understands both the practical and emotional aspects of the disease, and to contribute with her stories, experiences and feelings as honestly as possible. When there is a cure, Caro plans to "Jump up and down, leave the house without a bag full of stuff and eat without worrying about carb counts, boluses and blood sugar checks."

Diabetic Advocate:
Sean, 28, New Jersey. Diagnosed July 1994. Sean started his own diabetes website, Diabetic Food Critic in January 2006, he loves the Dallas Cowboys and skiing and he would love to make more friends with diabetes. Sean says he started his blog because, "I enjoy governmental relations and media relations and felt starting my blog it could give me a forum to educate people on what the government is doing to help or hurt diebetes issues." When there is a cure, Sean plans to have a huge party with all his friends.

Diabetic Princess:
Bethany, 20, New York. Diagnosed April 2002. Wears a Minimed Paradigm pump named Grover. Bethany has 5 tattoos, her favorite color is green and she has a hamster named Oscar. She started her blog because she loves to write. When there is a cure, Bethany says the first thing she will do is cry.

Dorkabetic:
Hannah, 24, Delaware. Type 1 since July 1990. Wears a Minimed 712 and sometimes uses Symlin. She had a high school boyfriend who used to refer to her as his “diabetic angel”, and she never really liked the way that sounded. She is a PWD…poet with diabetes. She loves to buy makeup, but hardly ever wears it on a regular basis. Hannah was inspired by the blogs Six Until Me and Diabetes Mine and wanted to start a blog because they made her feel not so alone. She wants to share her thoughts on diabetes without worrying about her non-d blogging friends. When there is a cure, Hannah will throw a massive party in which everyone eats sheet cake with a huge icing flower on every piece. There will also be dancing, karaoke, and maybe a stand where you can commemorate the occasion by bronzing your insulin pump or your syringe collection.

Every Day Every Hour Every Minute:
Cara, 25, Tennessee. Diagnosed in 1985. Uses an insulin pump. Cara is adopted, obsessed with country music, and her favorite fruit is a lime. Cara started her blog to vent her frustrations and to find others who deal with what she deals with everyday. When there is a cure, the first thing Cara will do is cry.

Fingerstick:
Dana, 27, Washington, D.C. Diagnosed in January 2006. Uses Novolog and Lantus. Dana works at the Smithsonian and is getting an M.A. in Museum Studies at George Washington University. She loves pickles and olives and almost anything briny. She hopes to one day live and work in a coastal area with her husband who hopes to become a scuba diving instructor. Dana started her blog to catalog her experience with being a newly diagnosed adult diabetic and to explore the change in lifestyle. When there is a cure, the first thing Dana will do is throw a kegger for everyone who has supported her through treatment before the cure.

A Gluten-Free Guide:
Catherine, 29, New York City, NY. Diagnosed in August 1989 and uses an insulin pump. Has celiac disease. Catherine is a yoga instructor, speaks Italian and has an obsession with new glasses. Catherine started her blog to share links and resources. When there is a cure, Catherine will throw away all her medical supplies and put her closet space to good use.

Good Diabetic
Claire, 22, Cambridge, MA. Diagnosed in January 1997. Uses a Minimed Paradigm 722. Claire can jump on a pogo stick and can do a pull up, which she considers a very real, important accomplishment in her life. Claire started her blog because she wanted a way to organize and share her thoughts about diabetes. She also thinks it will help with accountability and record-keeping. When there is a cure, the first thing Claire will do is stop worrying.

Hotel California:
Travis, 20, New York. Diagnosed December 2006. Uses Lantus and Novolog, going on the pump soon. Travis's nose is kind of crooked, he grew up 9,000 ft. about sea level, and he's an American Studies major. Travis started his blog to find his voice, iron out opinions, stay connected, and learn new things. When there is a cure, Travis says he'll "Wish I hadn't wasted so much time on this almighty bullshit."

How's the DB?:
Melissa- a 24-year-old Type 1 diabetic from New York City. Diagnosed with diabetes in 2003, a week before her 21st birthday. Melissa has struggled extensively with managing her own diabetes care, but she recently joined the Naomi Berrie Diabetes Center in NYC. Her story was featured on Diabetes Mine's Holy @#$! Amazing Stories, Vol. 1.

i got the D:
Cassandra, 24, Tokyo, Japan. Diagnosed in September 1989. Is on Lantus and Novolog. Cassandra is half American and half Japanese, she is a lacto-ovo vegetarian (that means she eats dairy and eggs, but no meat or fish), and studies Spanish. She started her blog to keep her motivated to keep her diabetes in control and to meet others with diabetes. When there is a cure, the first thing she will do is eat pizza.

If you or a luv'd one has dy-uh-beatus...:
Amber, 24, Minnesota. Diagnosed on December 7, 1991 and uses an insulin pump. Amber loves cats, drives a beat up Dodge Stratus and was once praised to have “a talent for writing.” She started her blog because she used to enjoy writing but fell out of the habit, and she also wants to connect with other diabetics. When there is a cure, the first thing Amber will do is tell her family so they can get more info. Then she will call her doctor and, if she’s able to, get the cure and then have a root beer float.

In Search of Balance:
Beth, 27, Washington. Diagnosed with Type 1 on June 23, 2003 and uses a Minimed pump with Humalog. Beth is a working artist, loves to cook and has two charming cats. Beth started her blog to give her a place to "distill myo thoughts about diabetes, and to allow people in similar situations to share their thoughts." When there is a cure, Beth plans to go on a week-long hike without a second thought, and then visit a Haagen Dazs for some ice cream!

Infusion Confusion:
Matt, 28, from Tennessee, pumping with a Minimed 728. Writes/plays/records music. Has 2 dogs that make him laugh every day. His first child is due in November. Started a blog to connect w/ other diabetics...He has ignored his disease long enough. When there is a cure, he plans to sell his old needles on the street corner...just kidding (we hope).

Kate's Quest:
Kate, 26, New York. Diagnosed in February 1981 and wears a Minimed 512. Kate loves crime shows, she is working on becoming a diabetes educator and she loves singing along to her favorite music. She started her blog because she loved reading other Barton Alumni blogs and thought it would be a great way to share feelings about diabetes and learn from others. It also got her journaling again. When there is a cure, Kate says she'll "give thanks for it.

Kirinqueen:
Erin, 29, San Diego, CA. Diagnosed in November 1995 and uses a Cozmo 1800. Erin has never tested her ketones, she has been non-competitively ballroom dancing for about ten years and she runs Snowclones.org. Erin started her blog to keep up with her old friends and to make new ones. When there is a cure, the first thing Erin will do is some serious fundraising to pay for it.

Megan in Milwaukee:
Megan, 29, Milwaukee, WI. Diagnosed in 1981. Uses an insulin pump. She has a cat named Potatoes, she hates bananas, and she is blind in one eye. Megan started her blog because she loves writing and enjoys reading other blogs. She thought it would be a good way to organize her thoughts and share experiences and questions. When there is a cure, Megan isn’t sure she’ll do anything differently, though she’ll probably cry tears of happiness.

Andrea – 28-years-old and diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes in 2002. An insulin pumper and uses her blog to share her thoughts and feelings on a wide range of subjets.

My Slice Of Life:
Sarah - 29-years-old, diagnosed with Type 1 September, 1993. Sarah is a pumper, has a 16 month old DD, Loves The Princess Bride, and she digiscrapbooks. She wants to create a spot where she can talk about her life in general, whether related to diabetes or not (although she does plan on including diabetes related posts). The first thing she will do when there is a cure is throw out ALL test strips.

My Time:
Rachel, 26, Maryland. Diagnosed in October 1993. Wears a Minimed insulin pump. Rachel loves to play tennis and roller blade, she is an electronics geek, and she is a very hard worker, even though she doesn't like her job at all. For a long time Rachel felt like diabetes didn't really affect her, but over the last couple of years she's realizing that it does. This is one of the reasons she decided to start her blog. She wants a place to talk about diabetes and have support. When there is a cure, the first thing Rachel will do is run down the street and do five jumping jacks.

Navigium:
Jill, 21, Washington, D.C. Diagnosed in November 2005. Uses Lantus and Novolog pens. Jill drives a stick, but prefers biking or rollerblading. She’s going to med school, but not to be an endo. She loves to listen to NPR all the time. Jill started her blog before she had diabetes so she could comment on other blogs. When there is a cure, the first thing she will do is make a collage out of her unused test strips after drinking a bottle of butterscotch syrup.

The Nefariouspoo of Sarah (Diabetic Musings):
Sarah, 28, Minnesota. Diagnosed September 1991. Uses Novolog in an insulin pump with Symlin injections. Sarah loves to run, some people think she’s a redhead and she loves food. Sarah started her blog because she feels she has a lot to offer and even more to gain from feedback. When there is a cure, the first thing Sarah will do is go on a really long run, with planned out water and bathroom stops but no glucose and no meter.

On The Sweet Side Of Life:
Carmen - 26 years old from Austria, Europe, taking insulin injections. She loves travelling, is an optimistic person, and talkative. She started a blog to share her thoughts and experiences with other diabetics and non-diabetics. When there is a cure she will simply be happy.

One Sweet Adventure:
Emily, 24, Vermont. Diagnosed on October 8, 1994. Uses a Cozmo insulin pump. Emily doesn't min getting dirty, makes "vroom" noises when driving her car, and likes to dance around her living in room in socks whenever she can. Emily started her blog because she finally realized that she was lurking and commenting so much that she thought maybe she actually did have enough to say to start a blog. When there is a cure, Emily will do a little dance and not worry about going low.

Orlando Pumpers:
Tim, husband to Christina, 29, diagnosed with Type 1 in October 1999. Christian uses an insulin pump. Tim is a teacher, starred in a Sprint commercial after winning a contest, and once dressed as a cartoon character as his job (hint: worked near the cryogenically frozen head). Christina is tall and blond, has 2 wiener dogs, and is a clean freak. Tim started the blog so they would be able to still find support after the birth of their son, because both of them could no loner attend the pump support group. When there is a cure, Tim thinks they will wait because there is bound to be a premature rush and a billion weird side effects.

Orsa Aetas:
Mel, 25, New England. Diagnosed August 22, 1987. Uses Novolog in a Minimed pump. Mel loves peanut butter, she’s allergic to Lantus and on lazy Sunday afternoons in the fall she will curl up on the couch with her knitting and watch the Pats! Mel started her blog to verbalize her dealings with diabetes and not only gather support from the community, but contribute as well. When there is a cure, Mel envisions the scene from office space where they beat the photocopier. Except she will use hammers instead of a baseball bat and the target will be her many glucose meters.

Overcompliance:
Lili, 28, Seattle, WA. Diagnosed in March 2005. Uses Novolog and Lantus. Lili is a librarian, she doesn’t lick her finger after a blood glucose test, and she speaks three languages well and three other poorly. She started her blog because of all the other blogs she read. She isn’t sure what she will do when there is a cure.

Pancreatically Challenged
Julie, 20-something, Maryland. Diagnosed on March 15, 2000. Uses Lantus. Julie has never been stung by a bee, she is originally from Louisiana, and hates tomatoes and seafood. Julie started her blog because she thinks it’s a great way to vent about bad days and talk about things she cares about. When there is a cure, she plans to travel and not worry about dealing with diabetes.

Plastic Pancreas:
Amalas, 22, St. Louis, MO. Diagnosed in July 2003 and uses a Cozmo insulin pump. Amalas loves to knit and crochet, her favorite book is Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card, and she's married. She started her blog to connect to a community that is bigger than just her real-life friends. When there is a cure, the first thing she will do is eat whatever food she wants in whatever quantities she wants.

Pumping Princess:
Vicki - 22 year old type 1 of West Midlands, England. Diagnosed June, 2001. Pumps with an Accu-Check Spirit. She loves watching/going to football to watch Coventry City, is obsessed with cats, and is slightly paranoid about EVERYTHING! She started a blog because it sometimes helps to get negative feelings out and it's a way to release stuff. Plus, it's fun. When there is a cure, she plans to go swimming, tramploing, cycling, and running with out fear of going low!

Random Thoughts & Diabetes:
Michelle, 27, Michigan. Diagnosed with Type 1 in February 1986. Uses a Paradigm 511 with Novolog. Michelle tends to procrastinate, but works well under pressure and always gets things done. Before she was on the pump, she started Lantus without her doctor's permission. She loves road trips and has made several 10+ hour trips alone. She started her blog because she feels it's a good way to connect with others who have diabetes and be more active in the diabetes community. Michelle hasn't given much thought to a cure or what she would do if one was found.

Red Alarm Clocks:
Stacey, 24, Pennsylvania. Diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes in 1990. Uses an insulin pump. For Stacey, deciding on the color of her pump was a very stressful situation (it is blue), her absolute favorite time of year is fall, and during the winter season, snowmen decorations take over her house! Stacey started her blog because she thinks its a fun way to share experiences with others in similar situations. Stacey isn't sure what she will do when there is a cure.

Ryan Bruner:
Ryan – a type 1 diabetic for 23-years, now a loving husband and father of four. Writes thoughtful counsel to people living with diabetes.

Sara in West Palm:
Sara, 24, Florida. Has had diabetes since 2002 and wears the Minimed Paradigm pump. Sara has three cute nieces and nephews, who she often posts about, is a huge country music fan and loves to travel. Her recent trip was to Israel and Jordan. Sara started her blog because she wanted to stay in contact with her friends and family and, even though she doesn't write about diabetes often, she wanted to be apart of the community. When there is a cure, Sara will look forward to her friends telling her what she should eat and how she can just "dial it in".

Schatzi's Blog:
Jed, 26, Florida. Diagnosed in June 1990 and uses an insulin pump and diabetes alert dog. Jed likes computers, has a large collection of books that he hasn't read, and loves to cook with his wife. Jed started his blog to help others learn about diabetes, diabetes alert dogs and service animals, and how they can be used. Jed prefers to stay focused on what he can do now to help himself and others, and not focus on the cure.

Shadows of Perfection
Jennifer, 25, British Columbia, Canada. Diagnosed in October 2001. Uses a Cozmo insulin pump. Jennifer is a teacher, enjoys volunteer work and being creative, and she is addicted to the Internet. She started her blog because she wanted to share information and support for people with diabetes as well as people who are legally blind, which Jennifer has been her entire life. Jennifer isn’t sure what she will do when there is a cure.

Six Until Me:
Kerri, 27, Rhode Island. Diagnosed on Sep. 11, 1986. Wears a Minimed 512 insulin pump. She likes a well-crafted piece of writing, trouble-free Volkswagons and walnuts. Kerri started her blog because she was on a search to find writing by people with diabetes to "confirm I wasn't alone." When there is a cure, the first thing Kerri plans to do is sign up.

StickIt:
Scott, 24, San Diego, CA. Diagnosed on March 12, 2004. Ues Lantus and Novolog. He wears size 11 sandals, has blue eyes and loves rice. Scott started StickIt to reach other PWD, and without, and help them relate to something. He says he found peace while reading about other's diabetic lives and hopes has something to offer too. When there is a cure, Scott will hug everyone who has supported him along the way.

Sugar Donor:
Flmgodog, 28, Midwest. Diagnosed January 4, 1999. Uses a Medtronic Minimed pump. She can wiggle her ears, loves “lime-ass” green and wants to retire in a tropical location and own a bike shop. She started her blog to chronicle her journey with Type 1 diabetes and trying to get pregnant. When there is a cure, she plans to drop her current life, take her husband and dog and move to a tropical location. She plans to drink only high carb drinks and eat high carb treats for at least a little while.

The Sugar Sickness:
Kendra, 23, Virginia. Diagnosed on March 31, 2002. Uses a Minimed insulin pump. Kendra is obsessed with the Smashing Pumpkins, loves peanut butter and gets a lot of enjoyment out of stepping on crunchy leaves. Kendra started her blog to keep a record of her life with diabetes and help work through issues. When there is a cure, the first thing Kendra will do is sign up and then test her blood sugar to see if she gets the commercial-perfect reading of “104” or “99.”

Sugar & Spice:
Leandra, 28, Type 1 since March 2, 2006, taking NovoRapid and Levemir. Lives in South Africa. Loves her job (at the moment..); Loves the city she lives in (always will); is probably one of the few people who actually likes water... Started blogging to share some of her experiences with others, meet new people and learn from others.

Sweet Nina:
Nina, 27, New York City. Diagnosed on January 28, 2000. Uses an Animas pump. Nina has two cousins with Type 1, and a maternal great-grandfather who died of complications in the 1930s. She went to college in Pennsylvania. She loves red win. Nina started her blog because the other blogs have inspired her to focus on her diabetes control and hopefully she can help someone else out there too. When there is cure, she wouldn’t do much because diabetes has helped her live pretty healthy, but she thinks she would probably have a big fat bowl of pasta.

Sweet Relief:
Kitter, 23, Melbourne, Australia. Diagnosed November 22, 1992. Uses Lantus. Kitter is a poet, a christian and she loves chocolate. She started her blog because she needed a place to express her creativity amongst fellow diabetics. When there is a cure, Kitter plans to slooooowly pour all her insulin down a drain and have a HUGE NBR party (No Bolus Required)

This Body Provides a Comfortable Home:
Erica, 28, Pennsylvania. Diagnosed October 19, 2005. Wears an insulin pump. Erica loves MTV reality shows, Degrassi: The Next Generation and the movie Bring It On, her uncle is a famous cartoonist and she hates diabetes. Erica started er blog to vent and get support while navigating the ups and downs of living with diabetes. When there is a cure, Erica plans to "go and get it!"

Tales of a TwentySomething:
Allison, 22, Virginia. Diagnosed on July 21, 2001. Uses Novlog in her purple Deltec Cozmo. Allison is a college senior majoring in Sociology and minoring in Nonprofit Studies. She hopes to work in the health field doing diabetes programming. One of her favorite movies is Can’t Hardly Wait. Her favorite junkfood is candy, especially Sour Patch Kids. Allison started her blog because she noticed there wasn’t a lot of college students blogging so she decided to start. When there is a cure, the first thing she will do is eat all the sour gummy candy she can, guilt-free!

ThisIsMe:
Nicole, 24, Boston. Diagnosed July 7, 1986 and wears an insulin pump. Nicole is fellow Barton Girl, having attended Clara Barton Camp for 11 years. She has a black belt in Tae Kwon Do and a semi-secret ambition is to go to med school and become a pediatrician. Nicole started her blog to give and receive help around living with diabetes. When there is a cure, Nicole says, "I think I'll eat until I get sick and then enjoy the fact that I don't have to test or take insulin.

This Is My Life:
Megan - 20 years old, pumping insulin. Diagnosed October, 2005. Pumps with a cozmo pump her CDs are in alphabetical order, she likes camping, archery, piano, and technology stuff. She has played piano, violin, viola, recorder, and guitar at various points in her life. She started a blog because it's the cool thing to do. When there is a cure she wants to take apart her pump and see the inside and how it is put together.

Thoughts of a Diabetic:
Laura, 24, Type 1 since February 1995. Lives in Pennsylvania and uses a Medtronic Minimed insulin pump. Laura loves to fish, loves Ghost Hunter on the Sci-Fi Channel and drink Diet Pepsi "like it's going out of style." Laura wanted to start a blog because she's had other blog and just wanted to jot down her thoughts. When there is a cure, Laura plans to "Eat and eat and eat!"
